The other night while driving home my kids started asking me questions about how i will deliver their little baby brother. I have explained before a few times the two ways a babies is born, naturally and by c-section.
So when asked again how baby brother would come out, I said hopefully naturally.
To this my 5 year old daughter replied,
"Will he come out in a boat or will he just swim out?

HA! That is one of the best kid-lines I've heard. Send that to Reader's Digest or something. And also, when she is a mother, she will realize that it does FEEL like you are pushing out a boat, but you don't need to explain that part now.
hilarious!
God's blessings you and your little swimmer! I can't believe that it's getting so close.
too cute. kids have such an innocent understanding of everything.
i mirror jen's comment. both my children's heads were in the 95th percentile, so i can't think of a better metaphor than the boat image at this point.
praying for a canoe-like deliver, as opposed to a yacht-like delivery. :)
Hahahahahahaha oh my gosh that's too funny!
that is so Reader's Digest material! love it.
Hopefully swimming without a boat or floaties :>. So, so cute....you could write a book with all the cute things your little ones say. By the way, I'm dying to know the little guy's name....and still cheering for dark brown hair!!!
that is a great story...
and who knew Bunch and Diane were such avid Reader's Digest readers?????? :o)
I laughed out loud! That is just to cute.
