The Loves of My Life

The Loves of My Life

Now don't start laughing....

I Know, I can't believe it either. I have officially entered into the Blogging world. I am not a good writer, but I have these thoughts that just go on and on, so i figured instead of killing my hubby every night to unload these brilliant nuggets that come to mind, I would put them in writing. Lately, I have been inspired to journal thru the reading of some of my friend's blogs. I read their thoughts and not only get to sneak a peak on the happenings of their lives, but I shout, "YES! Me too!" to the crazy things they are experiencing.
Hopefully, with this new adventure of blogging I can keep friends and family in the know. But mostly I just want it to look good. So if anyone wants to offer a tutorial......please help.

So why the title you ask? I think many of you that know me can nod your head and say, "yep, she is not your typical pastor's wife".  For instance, I don't play the piano, I have a horrible  singing voice and every now and then you might hear a cuss word come from my mouth, even (GASP) the f-word. Although that is a rarity, it has been known to happen. Even last night as I slept, I dreamed myself with a truckdriver's love for profanity as I talked to "my friends" with words I didn't even know I knew. So there's a just a few things that set me apart from most pastor's wives...and as you read....you'll see me uncover so many more unlikely characteristics that you might be appalled I possess.

but you know.....Jesus still loves me.
lol

Amen sister friend. I'd love to read your thought processes on a more regular basis than our hourly emails.

Love hearing what's going on in your soul and look forward to reading more!

I will have to call a prayer meeting to expel the demons of cussing from your body.

OMG!!! Can we bought blog on the same space since we live in the same strange universe where people wonder what we do for "fun" as Pastor's wives? I had someone this week say to me that he has never seen a Pastor's wives you actually help tear down and do the dirty work at church. Now I am the "dirty girl"!! YESSS! I think my blog if I ever get there will be " I sleep with the pastor!!!" I could have shirts made for us! My life group is threatening.

Ok....LOVE IT!!!!! You are such an inspiration!!! I think we should enter a competition for who is more unlikely...among other things, I have said SH*%!!!! at LEAST 5 times in front of the other pastor's kid (and she never lets me forget it) and I have officially stopped saying "sorry it's such a disaster" when people walk into my house (realizing it is just ALWAYS a disaster) and instead I now say, "try not to break your neck when you trip on a toy/book/old corn dog/etc." I can't wait to hear more from you!!!! XOXOX
PS- I would like a tshirt too. :)

Well friend, It is no surprise that dirty words and thoughts seem to just bubble up from unknown places. I would say that you are not the unusual one but you are the honest and open one. Most other pastor's wives are just better and playing the role and covering up the dirt.
I think dirty words and thoughts are human nature...
Glad to hear you got into the blog world. I just found out that my family has blogs and never told me. They probably thought that because I was on the other side of the world I could not get on the net!

I love your new blog! I now know the reason why I love you so much!

Your honesty is so amazing....

Remind me to tell you the story of when I said a bad, bad word in church.....loud!!!

with hope some day I'll have a man to give that shirt to... (it should be pink)
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing another amazing side of you... I have full faith this will be awesome, I'm still wading in the blogging-pool... but I love most to read other peoples blogs, it's super encouraging and fun! Keep the profanities, sillies, and strange thoughts coming...

OK, when I first saw your blog, I thought, "Wait! How did I not know about her blog?!?" and I was feeling very behind the times...until I saw that you only have two entries. What a relief! I don't want to miss many more posts like this!

Can't wait!
